| Where Have My Midis Gone? Have you lost your midis on your PC? It seems if midis are coded with bgsound src they can not be heard. Have you tried everything to get them back or did you just let them go out of your life? Well, I had a friend that lost hers and we wondered if they were gone for good. While lurking around in the newsgroups and harvesting whatever information I can that seems helpful I ran across a post about that very thing. My friend tried it and her midis came home wagging their tails......Anyway, she can hear midis again..... ######################################## ######################################## You need to enable a browser add-on for it to work. Try this: 1] Open IE 7 2] Click "Tools" near top of your browser window 3] Slide cursor to "Manage Add-Ons" and then click "Enable Or Disable Add-Ons" 4] Click the arrow in the dropdown box to the right of the word "Show" and then click the line that reads "Add-Ons That Have Been Used By Internet Explorer" --- this will result in a new list of items displaying in the "Name" and "Publisher" columns 5] Look for item named "AUDIO_MID MONIKER CLASS" --- if it is there, click it to highlight and then click the "Enable" circle under "Settings" at the bottom of the screen. 6] Click "OK".
